SORB-4™
Phosphate Remover
SORB-4™ is a specially manufactured Phosphate Adsorption Media (PAM) which
was developed for the removal of phosphate (PO4), the main cause of algae problems.
SORB-4™ has an extra longlife, the media last a lot longer than other conventional
PAM due to their high capacity.
SORB-4™ has an extremely high specific surface area of approximately 732,400
ft²/lb which provides many adsorption sites for phosphate. Due to the low density,
SORB-4™ has three times higher adsorption capacity on a weight basis than
wet adsorbents. It binds phosphate far stronger than most other PAM and does not
leach back out even after the full adsorption capacity is reached. |

BLACKGOLD™ is a specially manufactured Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) which
uses a patented high pressure steam activation process that produces superior pore
space throughout each individual granule. With daily use of BLACKGOLD™, it
removes dissolved organic waste, foul odors, toxins, chloramines, chlorine, hydrogen
sulfide and water discoloration (yellow tint). It will not raise phosphate levels
and affect pH in the aquarium. It is safe for all types of aquariums, even sensitive
reef systems with complex organisms.
BLACKGOLD™ is certified and met the requirements of the U.S. Food Chemical
Codex for human drinking water.

PUR-II™ Water Recharge™
ammonia & nitrate controller
PUR-II™ Water Recharge™ is an ideal filter medium which has been formulated
to bind the preliminary stages of nitrate, namely ammonia and nitrite, so that the
production of nitrate is prevented. With daily use of PUR-II™, it removes
ammonia, nitrite, chlorine, toxic heavy metals, dissolved organic waste and fouls
odors, and obtains sparkling crystal clear water. Newly setup aquarium can immediately
be stocked with fish as PUR-II™ is "fully active" from the very first minute.
PUR-II™ does not remove trace elements.
