Pur Kalkwasser™ is pure calcium hydroxide powder that is used to prepare kalkwasser
solutions that will help to maintain high calcium concentration and alkalinity or
carbonate hardness (KH) in aquariums. A wide variety of invertebrates in reef aquariums
including soft and hard corals, mollusks, crustaceans, clams and calcareous algae

Pro Series Buffer 8.3™ is a solution
that contains a balanced blend of bicarbonate, carbonate and borate salts. It is
designed to adjust the pH between 8.0 to 8.3 and raise alkalinity or carbonate hardness
(KH). Alkalinity is important for maintaining a high pH.
Pro Series Buffer 8.3™ is also essential for coral growth when
used with our calcium additives. A wide variety of invertebrates in reef aquarium
including corals, mollusks and algae absorb calcium and carbonate from the water
for protection, body support and calcification. |

Pro Series SeaBalance
™
two parts, A & B
Pro Series SeaBalance™ is a highly concentrated
two-part calcium and alkalinity buffer maintenance system that replenishes calcium
and alkalinity with the correct ratio of ions to the composition of Natural Seawater.
SeaBalance™ also includes magnesium and strontium in the amounts proportionate
to typical utilization ratios. Without high concentrations of magnesium, all the
calcium would combine with carbonates and precipitate out of the aquariums. Alkalinity
is primarily the concentration of calcium, magnesium, carbonate and bicarbonate,
which helps maintain a high pH and is essential for coral growth. |
